The Paso Robles Area

Set up base here for a memorable wine tasting trip or for pure relaxation, as our hotel is a classy and comfortable place to stay whenever travel takes you to west-central California. On Route 46 by the 101 Freeway, our award-winning hotel is located near picturesque vineyards and a short drive from Pacific Ocean beaches. Modern rooms feature upscale appointments like granite countertops and pillow-top beds and come with free Wi-Fi, microwave, mini-fridge and more. The free Bright Side Breakfast® offers exceptional variety with eggs, potatoes, meats and waffles. Guests can pick up a quick bite to eat or sit down to fine dining downtown in five minutes or less. Friendly staff hosts evening wine tastings and to make things even more like home we welcome pets!

Tucked in between rolling hills and large oak trees, the area is home to over 200 wineries and  vineyards in central California just east of the coast. Connecting many of them is the Highway 46 wine trail where our hotel is located. This region is one of the country’s fastest-growing wine regions and a land of festivals that celebrates fine cuisine and the grapes that go with it. The landscape here suits golfing with three courses in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: Hunter Ranch, River Oaks and The Links. The Event Center, which hosts year-round events including the Mid-State Fair, is minutes away, and the city’s downtown shopping district is just a two-mile drive. Get your motor running and head west on scenic Highway 1 alongside beautiful Pacific coast beaches.

Local Attractions

Guests with just one day to explore can visit several wineries a few miles down the road, including Eberle – which ages its wines in underground caves measuring 17,000 square feet – Bianchi, Meridian, Eos Estate and Le Vigne at Sylvester. Go for the tasting and for the dining that many of the proprietors provide with views overlooking green and gold hillsides. Pacific Ocean beaches make a fine day trip so pack some bread, cheese and chardonnay and picnic at Avila Beach, the Pismo Beach pier, Cayucos Beach or San Simeon, near Hearst Castle. If you’d prefer something closer, the 200-year-old Mission San Miguel is a 14-mile drive. Kids will love the wave pool at Ravine Waterpark.
